how it works

The Keepsake Storage Process

Renting a Storage Unit is Simple.

  1. Give us a quick call to rent a unit.
  2. If you reserved online, we will call you during business hours. Click on Contact Us to see our business hours.
  3. We will help you pick an appropriate gate code that you can easily remember. (Not all locations are gated.)
  4. Drive to the facility and find your unit. Make sure the unit meets your needs. Feel free to call if there is a problem.
  5. Move in your belongings.
  6. Lock your unit by sliding the latch to the right completely and placing your lock on the latch. It may be necessary to apply pressure with your right foot on the foot plate or door handle to slide the latch into a locked position.
  7. Check your e-mail for the electronic lease. Simply type your name in the appropriate field and e-mail it back. No paper document necessary! Check your spam if you don't receive it. Also, you will receive a welcome text.
  8. Enjoy the rest of your day!

If for any reason you are not satisfied (unit size is not sufficient, door or latch doesn’t work properly, etc.), please contact us before placing your belongings into the storage unit.

Reserving a Storage Unit is Easy!

Reserving a unit is not the same as renting a unit; we are holding a unit of your chosen size until we contact you. If you made an online reservation, expect a call from us during business hours to assign you a unit and discuss your storage needs. You can reserve a unit from the link on our website. Please note that you will be redirected to our storage rental software that has the most up-to-date unit information. Although there is a $20 reservation fee to reserve your unit, rest assured that it will be credited to your account once the rental process is complete. Your data will never be shared with anyone. Reservations expire after 7 days.

Ready to Move In? The Process is Simple.

  1. Drive to the facility, enter your gate code (if necessary), and find your unit. Make sure the unit meets your needs. Feel free to call if there is a problem.
  2. Move in your belongings.
  3. Lock your unit by sliding the latch to the right completely and placing your lock on the latch. It may be necessary to apply pressure with your right foot on the foot plate or door handle to slide the latch into a locked position.
  4. Check your e-mail for the electronic lease. To sign the lease, simply type your name in the appropriate field and e-mail it back. No paper document necessary! Check your spam if you don't receive it. Also, you will receive a welcome text.
  5. Enjoy the rest of your day!

If for any reason you are not satisfied (unit size is not sufficient, door or latch doesn’t work properly, etc.), please contact us before placing your belongings into the storage unit.

Moving Out? Here's How It Works.

Moving out of Keepsake Storage is as stress-free as moving in. Once you have removed your lock and broom swept your unit, just call our friendly staff and let them know. You can also email and let us know that you have moved out of your unit. We will take care of the rest.
